The way its going to be...
O.K. So I had this idea this morning, and as I'm sitting here listening to Amy practice her German, it still sounds like a good, and highly viable idea. Will I stick to it? Anyone's guess.
I used to speak, read, and write really fluent French, but by fate and circumstance, these skills have seriously atrophied.
Also I never post in my various journals. So I decided that starting tomorrow, I'm going to start posting, every day, entirely in French. Knowing me and my current skill level, these will probably be trite entries about something that happened, or what I had for dinner, or what the cat is doing... Still I think this might help me get my fluency back... I'm also learning German at present, so as I become more proficient there, I might pepper it with some German entries, especially before and after the Berlin trip...
Anyway, if I have anything of substance to say, I'll likely do it in English and post about as often as I do now...
If you wish to be spared from my experiment (that will surely fail) please let me know and I'll filter you out so as not to clutter your friends list...
