[[This topic got me to wondering, and Y'all know how I love to look stuff up.... it seems Naomie Harris is British raised and of Jamaican descent (and she was Selena in 28 Days Later, and her middle name is Melanie! I always find that cool. XD), so her accent is probably based on her mother's. However, her character lives on Pelegosto, for which Dominica was used for filming, so that's another option.
