Why is everyone screaming about Sarah Palin being unfit to govern because she has kids? Are we really still that sexist? I mean really life. Are we? Cause if we are let's at least be honest about it ( Read more... )

Yeah, that's just about the lowest form of mud-slinging I've heard yet. I'm pretty sure most every single president has had kids, and notice that I didn't say most every single VICE president. No, I said president...yet nobody seems to care if the men have kids when they run for president. No, it's just the woman running for vice president.

If someone isn't fit to do a job because they have kids, let's just shut down the country. We'd better not take any more risks with having these women in places outside the home. And I don't want to hear anyone saying that women can do whatever they want, because clearly they can't...either that, or we stop procreating. All right men, which is it?!

Yeah, the media and politicians are more than ready to throw out the rules when it comes to slinging mud at a Republican. I am not surprised. For the most part, rules are to be made by *them* but served out by *everyone else* (aka, us). They are above the rules they make.

And don't get me started on the whole experience issue. Obama has little more experience than she does and they were more than willing to back him for presidency. Now suddenly experience is an issue? They are wanting to have it both ways for some reason.

Ya, I would have to say that if having kids disqualifies women from doing a job, the whole world is about to shut down. Not to mention the fact that if you have a large family like she does, it's even easier because your older kids help you out a lot with the younger ones. Not to mention she has a husband. All in all, I'm not sure how the dems were planning to back up their argument without looking sexist. Or maybe they didn't think that far ahead.
