Haha! You'd thought I'd disappeared, but alas I am here. Freezing my butt of in cold cold Michigan. It's the strangest thing to see snow that stays on the ground for days, weeks (hell it doesn't ever really go away, there's just more of it every other day). I haven't been in a place where snow was piled in drifts many feet high for a long time. Since I was little in fact. I bought a pair of boots the other day and was really excited. It made me want to buy some snowpants and dig large holes in a giant snowplow drift somewhere.
I heard a phrase from a stranger yesterday that I really enjoyed and want to remember. He was asked how he was doing, in greeting, and he responded by saying, "Better than I deserve, not as well as I'd like." Oh, so true, oh so true. I mean Most in America are doing much better than they deserve, but it's still not as much as they'd like. Or at least that's me. It's strangely lonely in Michigan, even though I have wonderful love and warmth around me all the time.
That's why I got back on X-box live. Anyone have gamertags they'd like to share? I play Halo 2 mostly. zealousmonk is my gamertag.
Oh, I didn't make the NanoWrimo Goal. Just a fifth of it. I am however excited about the project I've been working on since last june. The Fantasy story about the mysterious destruction of a city. Tentatively titled the Ghosts of Gimyrresh.
I am so ridiculously excited about Chronicles of Narnia. So Good!
