Vika's brain, part two

May 14, 2011 21:41

Today, I was studying when my brain decided it needed a break and made that decision known by providing my mind with a completely random association.

If you want to write "Jesus" in Japanese, this is what it looks like:
イエス
イエズス
エス
耶蘇 (やそ)

In Roman letters:
Iesu
Iezusu
Esu
Yaso

(I know that because 耶蘇 Yaso came up in a sentence in Bungo class last (?) year and everyone was like wtf and then our teacher explained to us that there are a gazillion ways of writing 'Jesus' in Japanese, and somehow, that stuck.)

This is what my brain came up with by smashing those four words together:

イエヤス
Ieyasu

In other words: My brain tried to convince me that Tokugawa Ieyasu is Jesus.

*amused*

lolwtf, japanese, brain
