I knew it was bad, but
this Asahi shinbun article made me realise just HOW bad the problem of underage suicides due to unknown reasons, but usually school pressure, abuse by the teacher and, mostly, bullying IS in Japan. It doesn't matter if you can't read Japanese, look at the graph on the left; it shows how many children committed suicide in which year.
If the teacher I'm writing this paper for DOESN'T agree that this is a HUGELY RELEVANT SOCIAL PROBLEM in Japan, I will through a FIT.
The title of the article is, partly, "Why did our children die?"
