I am finally out of that miserable place... I don't... want to see the hospital bill... I can barely keep up with rent, and now this... why is it that I share a respectable title with all of the miserable men who stick needles in my arm, yet they still make more than I do?

It's misplaced morality, Sir. The fact that the psychological practice- in comparison to the prestige of the medical arts- is still fairly 'new' from its days of cold baths and shoddy asylums in comparison...

But really, you should eat, you know. I can make some borscht and bring it over on my way to Peter's.

It's more of a prestigious practice, I think. Little do the doctors know what effect the brain has on the body. People prefer to be fixed in a way that they can see, not something tangible like the subconscious.

Those beets better be fresh.

I'm sure you've noticed- It's all about 'Instant Gratification' these days. Mending the mind takes time and patience. Which can be said for the body at times, but people are less willing to believe that.

O-of course! I never cook without fresh ingredients. That spoils the meal.

Instant gratification is just a human quality. You and I would prefer something now as opposed to later, da?
