This antibody testing is sort of reasonable move and it gives even some hope that borders will be open soon etc.

But besides being a reasonable effort etc, this antibody testing is also an interesting opportunity to restrict human rights and to create sort of bio-passport.
It can work like some analogue to Soviet rules, when only certain people were allowed to travel to other countries. For example, people, who don't have antibodies to this virus, can be considered as no-fly category of citizens, whereas only immune people will be allowed to travel.
It is really an interesting possibility. But these tests they always have been error prone. Of course they are becoming better and better and they don't look like these old-fashioned ELISas, these tests, I think. But anyway.
So if this virus exists and if it is really as scary/unpredictable/dangerous, then probably such tests will be able to allow to avoid these crazy quarantines all over the world.
But again, they will be able to create a sort of novel citizen categories i.e. immune and non-immune.
