I am feeling a little bit insane (finals, college, oh my god), so I am doing my favorite meme ever to soothe my soul.

Military Intelligence and Security Group (known as MISG more often) are a post-hardcore punk band from LA with a cultlike following that calls themselves MISGies. They didn't start out political, but this is their third album and it is a bizare mix of traditional Hawaiian instruments over power chords and specific indites of politicians that nobody has ever heard of.
True MISGies say that the best track is number five. Live, the lead singer does a really kickin' ukelele solo and a death metal scream. They actually had a cross-over hit with Progestagen, which is a ballad about a M2F transsexual. No one can figure out why they set the music video on the surface of Mars.
