Juan had mostly just let his lover's speech go in one ear and out the other. He did that with most of what Matt said. And since Matt really never cared if he said anything back, it was a perfect arrangement. "In real life what?"
Matt shifted and snuggled into his shoulder. "...You're a total sap. A total fucking sap, you know?"
Juan just chuckled. "Just because I love you doesn't mean I can't take down a bear with my bare hands."
Matt smacked him. Then laced their fingers together. "I'm still better than you."
Snort. "Suuure."
"Was that sarcasm I hear? That was totally sarcasm... your contract says you're not allowed to do sarcasm!!" That was almost a pout. Almost.
"Yes, well." Juan's other hand slid around Matt's shoulders, holding him close. "There are some things in life that are off the contract."
