When you run, run, run, run, run.
I tried to make dinner for some friends and neighbours today and fucked up horribly - my precious Serb bean soup failed. It burned, to be more precise. I blame the pot, I'd have needed a bigger one. But it was a fun evening in any case, I might try something else in autumn. I'm leaving to Berlin on Friday and then I'm off to New York on Monday. I really can't wait, it's been four months since I've been with Tammi... it'll be nice again. Nothing's like having properly made Serb beans and taking out Kastor to Central Park and bugging Tammi with Blade Runner and Star Trek quotes, watching Jeopardy and Mythbusters, watching the sunset from Battery Park and fetching Tammi from classes and drinking Mountain Dew and sleeping without being woken by construction workers and getting lost in an urban maze and showering with Tammi. And all the other small things that make you forget the big things. I hope you all have a splendid summer.
