Gripe
Ok, I'm irritated. Apparently some people on my facebook who are my husband's relatives feel the need to talk about me behind my back. Such people are Christian, church going sorts of folks. Now me and hubby totally disagree on religion and theology, but he knew I was not Christian from the start and accepted that. Indeed he is irritated too about the talking. I have never hidden what my beliefs are, but I have not shouted them out either. For Netjer's sake, why do they talk bad about me? Because I like tarot? Because I am an evil KO Heathen? My kids are going to be outcasts because they know who Sekhmet is? Because they call the sun Ra?
So I gave a shout out on facebook and proudly declared I am Kemetic Orthodox. I guess it remains to be seen what in-laws will say or do, though I rarely get wind of what they are saying.
Don't ever let your Mother-in-Law live with you. Huge mistake.
Oh yeah, I'm at least partly Heathen, and well, they might have a fit if they knew I practice witchcraft too.
