I dont think my body likes the cold too much anymore. I can't even stand the thought of going outside. I know I'll come around, but as for right now I'm constantly congested from the change of dry heat in my house to the bitter coldness of outside. I went to the doctor and he gave me some stuff, but it's not really helping. My mom told me that at 6am it was -3 degrees. I can't even comprehend that. My blood has really thinned since I've been at school.
I spoke with Matt Dillon (head of enrollment for nursing) yesterday and my application to nursing school for February is all set. I still have to get CPR certified in January, and go get an FBI background check done, which is fine because I have nothing to worry about. I'm so excited. My classes for next semester are pretty intense though...
-Human Anatomy & Physiology II
-History of the Modern World
-Human Growth & Development (which is a Pyschology class... soooo excited)
-Elementary Statistics
- General Chemistry
& even though it seems like a little bit of a tough load, I'm so pumped. I'm so happy that I found a degree that I'm really happy with. It makes the work load so much easier when you're actually interested in what you're learning.
I think this Christmas is going to be amazing. My dad is the biggest Boston Bruins fan there is (even though I think the last time they won the Stanley Cup was like 1970). So I found an autographed hockey stick by Ray Bourque that he used in a game. I'm really excited about it. I think he's going to be thrilled. Me & my mom are also going down to Stroudsburg Photo and getting all of the videos from when me & John were younger over to DVDs for him too. He's wanted to do that for a long time, but he never has the time to really do anything. He's gonna have a good Christmas-- which is awesome because he is the hardest person in the entire world to buy for. The man has everything.
I got my mom Liztech jewelry and some stuff from Brighton. I'm not saying what I got John because I know he reads this-- but I hope he likes it too.
I still have quite a bit of shopping left to do too. So today I'll be going out and finishing up. I like shopping for other people by myself. But of course, it is inevitable that I'll run into at least one person I know in this town. It even happened to me last night. I went to the pub with my parents and the hostess was Alyssa. Crazy.
I miss my Phis. & the crazy FIJIs. & the crazy Sigma Nus.
Isaac turned 21 yesterday. The parties this winter break are going to be crucial. :o)
I cant wait for snowtubing at Alpine at 2am...
