I just love the way kids hear and see things.
My Minnie Mouse is now 7 years old. Back when she was 4 or 5 she saw "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" in the same week. Every time she saw the movie on TV or my DVD she would run around the house and shout "'Chocolate and the Chip' can we watch, can we watch?!?!?!"
The movie "The Rundown" with the Rock.. she and her bother both call that the "The Tookie Tookie Movie" because the guy he chases says that in the movie. Actually the same guy says the same thing in a movie called "Evolution" so I always have to figure out which movie they really want to watch because they still call both movies "The Tookie Tookie Movie".
Last year Minnie Mouse was watching the Disney Channel and they announced "The Princess Diaries" was coming on next. She got all excited and came running to me and said, "The Princess Diarrhea" is coming on, can I watch it?" She now says it right but it was "The Princess Diarrhea for about 6 months.
My niece and nephew are staying the night so my brother and sister-in-law can go do a dinner and a movie for my sister-in-law's birthday today. My nephew (who turned 1 last Wednesday) had a poopy diaper. My Tweety Bird (who is 5 years old now) said, "Oh gross... he has diary."
I laughed and looked my mother and said, "So the Princess has diarrhea and the baby has a diary!"
Anyway, I just had to share... I just love the way kids hear and see things.
