I just smile.

For the first time in a long time, I love school.

JRN 551: Public Relations Case Studies. I have three big projects, obviously case studies, that include papers and presentations. Also, miscellaneous tests. Tough, but interesting.

JRN 556: Public Relations Seminar. Project 1: Plan and execute the first ever public relations internship fair with a group of 13. Oh yeah, the date of the event is Oct. 28. Project 2: Spend 40 hours doing public relations tasks for an organization (i.e. take another internship!) Project 3: Create a complete, comprehensive communications plan for an organization, and prepare a presentation for the class convincing them your plan is valid and effective. Project 4: Sign up for a mock interview at some point during the semester. This will take between 45-60 minutes, but you should definitely prepare. This class is going to completely kick my ass, but everything I'm doing is so valuable to my education.

STA 282: Statistics. Lots of homework and tests, enough said. It will suck, but it's valuable knowledge to have.

WST 207 (Women's Studies): Women in Religion. This class is a portfolio class involving extensive readings and a paper/assignment for each class. The focus is the effect of religion and patriarchy on gender roles, both negative and positive, and a better understanding of critical thinking and effective essay writing. I'm absolutely in love with my professor. She is the embodiment of amazingness. And she's absolutely beautiful.

PED 146/246: Yoga. This is the perfect semester for a stress reliever.

PRSSA: National Committee. I have so many responsibilities, I'm scared. Somehow, though, I think I can do it. Maybe not perfectly, maybe not always hitting deadlines, but I'm trying my damnedest and I feel like I'm getting a lot done even when my to-do list never ends.

PR Central: Vice President and Account Executive. Essentially, working for a student-run firm is like having an internship. I have no idea how much work it's going to be, but I'm in a huge leadership position this year, so it's probably not going to be easy.

At first I was really stressed out about everything, but now I'm just excited. I'm in classes that are hard, but I want to learn everything they're teaching. I have more work than I can do, but I want to get it done. I think my recent marathons of watching Gilmore Girls might have influenced my aspirations a little bit, but I'm so excited to finally be interested in stuff again. I've taken so many classes that I hated and didn't care about, I think this is going to be refreshing. As long as I get out of the semester alive, anyway.
