Writing exams

is much more difficult than taking them. I swear.

I deeply, deeply dislike having to do multiple choice answers, but it is really the format appropriate to lots of technical questions on the intro level. But making up plausible but not tricky alternatives takes me forever. Hence, following a suggestion from my dear husband, one of my exam questions for tomorrow reads as follows:

39. Semi-conservative replication means
a) only one half of the DNA molecule is replicated
b) both daughter DNA molecules have half of the original molecule
c) few mistakes are made during DNA replication
d) I am a pretty pretty princess
