Yesterday, on my way to lunch, I held the door for an old lady who was on her way from my building to her car. The box that she was carrying seemed to be a bit heavy for her, so I offered to carry it for her to her car, which ended up being parked right next to mine. As I put the package in her back seat (SHUT UP), she said, "You're such a nice young man, god bless your heart. I wish more young people were like you" and various other nice (read: untrue) things to that effect. I told her that it was no problem at all and, feeling good after having my good deed for the day week, I got in my car, turned it on and cringed as the radio, which had been turned up to 11 before I turned the car off, came on...

I will never, ever forget the look on the old lady's face. I laughed halfway to Wendy's.
