I've had a few petitions on the pm web site, but get little support, one to make the CBI and its members along with local chambers of commerce to make them aware of the goods and services amendment to the SDA in 2008, as many are refused appropriate toilet access in cinemas, clubs, pubs, betting shops, supermarkets in fact anywhere there are single sex facilities. I am one such girl, and getting access to legal advice when such things happen is impossible. If companies knew the law, then they would not discriminate. A law is only as good as its back up system. the amendment to the SDA, makes it innherent on the discriminated against individual to contest this in court, but if you cannot get legal representation, the new law becomes worthless.
I have argued that FFS should be funded as part of the treatment, as HRT works less well for some girls than others, leading to abuse, threats, assaults on the person and the home, employment discrimination and more. That trans guys should get womb and ovary removal, breast removal and phalloplasty (if required by patient) all as standard treatment.
I do live in the real world though, and just one day that I will pass, and all my problems will one day be history.
