so i did get the job at starbucks. the manager of the shadyside store, carrie, called me while i was sleeping on thursday morning. i was so geeked-- i made my dad buy me new clothes & shoes so that i don't immediately get fired for dress-code non-compliance. now sherri & i can finally sign our lease & move into our new apartment.
last night i didn't get to meet claudio sanchez...but anthony did. we stood out in the freezing cold rain so he could meet the coheed boys, which he was, of course, totally jazzed about. i'm happy for him, but still in a slightly pouty mood because the people at FYE were such bastards. claudio & josh did say hi to me, however, which kind of a little bit maybe made up for it. but not a whole lot. he's completely majestic.
remind me to never again pay 40 quid, or let someone else pay it, for me to stand out in the cold & see two really horrible bands in a really terrible venue just because coheed & cambria is playing on the bill as well. that was definitely a mistake. who's brilliant idea was it for them to tour with fucking avenged sevenfold?? why does that band even exist???? anthony & i had fun making fun of everyone there, though.
