I have felt the land being cleansed as Zigfried and the others took control over the demon and destroyed it. I felt the evil disappear and I am grateful that Mahado can now rest in peace. I have felt him leave Zigfried's body and the weight on his ghostly shoulders disappear. I have seen the change that this milestone has created. Zigfried is now ( Read more... )

I was just happy that I could lend a hand in helping get rid of the darkness in the castle.

It's a good thing that you all pulled together so well. Now he can be the king he was meant to be and seeing that the event went so well, his power is only going to grow from here.

That is true. I have some other good news too. Max asked me to marry him and I said yes. *shows Dartz the ring*

*eyes grow wide as he smiles* Then perhaps it's time that you took your place by his side for eternity. Pegasus is a man of patience and grace. Don't despair if the engagement is longer than expected. He's also quite busy.

Thank you for your kinds words, Dartz. *bows* You have always been a good friend to us. Even if you cannot get involved in our affairs directly anymore, it will be nice to continue to hear from you on occassion.

I agree with you. If Mahado is truly gone, then Zigfried is certainly ready to take on more advanced magic. He has great potential as a mage, and he already is a magnificent monarch. I have no doubt that his influence will last beyond his lifetime. *smiles* He really is a marvel, isn't he?

*smiles* I'm glad that I was able to witness such an event. He is magnificent and he has a great man by his side to help him get there. He's not going to leave you behind and I can already tell that he has greater plans for the future. I have seen it. *gets a fond look in his eyes* I believe that his kingdom will leave an indelible mark on the world as one of the only true sovereignties left.

His only wish is to make his people and those that surround him happy. That also includes you, my friend.

He has already made me happier than I ever thought possible. I'm glad that he has thought about a future with me. I have dreamed about mine with him, and in this land of peace.

And yet I can't help but feel uneasy. I know that while I am here, happily reading books and spending long hours with my lover, many of my closest friends are still in danger! I am torn among the possibilities of action to take next, and the fact that I still do not know what happened to my powers will only hinder my proper judgement. I have spent so many years as a restless spirit surrounded by evil... I suppose old habits die hard.

I almost envy you for your having to step aside.

Don't envy me. I want to help and being unable to for the risk of causing possible harm in the future, hurts me deeply than and sword could strike. It's true that old habits die hard, and the hardest one to break is the one that's been formed the longest.

I'm sure that Zigfried isn't going to sit back while your friends need you. He's more pro active now than he was in the past. Talk to him about your concerns and he will follow through. His and yours goals are very similar.

Have you heard from Namaka yet? Plentyn said something about looking for Mako's memories. It could probably help us.

*eyes widen* Oh yeah! That's right! Plentyn mentioned to me he remembered where he put Mako's memories! He ran off and never came back. I haven't seem him since. *frowns slightly* ...Plentyn gave me Mako's shark prod... *sigh* Having one of Mako's belongings near me makes me worry about him...

... Am I the only one who's noticed that all of us get easily distracted from our purpose during 'rescue missions'? *refering to when Mokuba and Alister were captured*

I never thought I'd hear you worried about Plentyn... I hope he finds what he's looking for.

WHAT?! Plentyn?! Hell no! I'm not worrying about Plentyn, I'm worried about MAKO! Which is just as weird, if not more, now that I think about it...
