Good weekend I'd say.
Brittnie's suprise birthday party was Saturday...we got her so good. That was a really fun time. So many good people. The boys did well in their performance, except we couldn't hear Chris on account of the lousy PA they had. I'll post some pictures on that later.
Sunday my pop left for his 'meditation camping trip'...he'll be gone for a week. Cara invited me to see Air at the Hollywood Bowl. WOW. Such an amazing show. First we get there and find out we had these AMAZING seats. Then there was the abundance of attractive people of all ages. Then Sondre Lerche came on, just him and his guitar, and played a few songs. That Norweigen can play. After he played, Stereolab came on. Cutest little French girl. That band was so good. I can't even describe. Then we made a bathroom run and I ran into an old friend of mine from Cal Arts. We caught up a bit, made dinner plans, and she introduced me to her boyfriend. The first thing he says to me is 'do you know who Trent Resnor is?' and I say yes of course. Then he points a few feet over my shoulder and low and behold...Trent is sitting a few seats in front of mine. Whew. Air played next and let me tell you...they were absolutely incredible. They played the song from The Virgin Suicides that they did as well as the one from Lost In Translation. They also played a few others I had recognized. They did a song with Beck and Jason Faulkner which was really neat and unexpected. And apparently that was the first time in seven years that they played with a full orchestra. Wow. That show was just marvelous.
This morning I didn't hear my alarm go off so I woke up to Cara ringing the doorbell to pick me up for school. Obviously I couldn't get ready in five minutes to make it to school on time so I told her I would just not go. So I stayed home and loafed pretty much.
Friday Bella plays...woo. Hopefully they will have a better PA.
