The 164-page document was filed just a few hours after the court decided on the date of the meeting on the burning issue of buying Twitter, which Musk postponed for a long time, and then decided not to commit at all. The company was offended that after a long period of courtship, the billionaire simply threw her and demanded that the businessman complete her purchase. Lawyers promise that the edited version of the lawsuit will be available to the public.

In early July, the head of Tesla terminated the $44 billion deal because the company allegedly failed to fulfill its obligations and violated the merger agreement. So Twitter decided to force the businessman to buy through the court. And they say the court has already sided with the company - according to the judge, prolonged "uncertainty" over the fate of the transaction damages the company.
Experts believe that Musk may lose the trial. And there is a rather high probability of enforcement of the concluded takeover agreement. There is another likely outcome of the court hearing - Twitter will receive a penalty for refusing a deal in the amount of up to $ 1 billion and settle down.
