Ukrainian brokers who sent cryptocurrency to Russians Face Jail
The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine announced the seizure of more than 50 million hryvnias ($ 1.6 million US dollars), 830 kilograms of silver, six land plots and three apartments from those accused of money laundering.
The Prosecutor General's Office said that crypto brokers converted cash and non-cash assets into cryptocurrencies for Russian citizens, as well as for residents of the Lugansk and Donetsk republics. They will be brought to criminal responsibility.
According to the prosecutor's office, the total value of the seized property is more than $ 3.3 million. Most of the cash was in euros, the names of cryptocurrencies were not listed.
