Compass Mining has returned its mining machines located at a facility in Maine.
A July 5 court order granted Compass access to the machines, the company said in a blog post on Friday.
According to the miner, the court banned the Dynamics Corp facility from "operating, moving or otherwise disposing of equipment" and stated that Compass has the right to access the facility.
Compass sued Dynamics Corp on June 21, accusing the hosting provider of holding its machines "hostage," according to Law360.
Dynamics Corp said on Twitter that Compass missed some electricity payments. The miner denied these accusations, stating on his blog that he had fulfilled all his contractual obligations.
"It seems that Dynamics misunderstood the contracts it signed in relation to its facilities and its obligations under them," the report says.
Compass is currently sending back all devices from the Maine factory to its logistics and repair center in Denver.
The company places mining machines from individual customers at facilities in the USA and Canada. According to the court's decision, the miner gave customers the opportunity to pick up their equipment. At the same time, he is looking for a new provider to accommodate the remaining machines.
Compass has also faced some internal turmoil over the past couple of weeks. Its CEO and CFO resigned at the end of June as the company cited "multiple failures and disappointments." And last week, the company announced a 15% reduction in staff and a reduction in senior management salaries.
