Dogecoin and Shiba Inu have been showing growth since Elon Musk spoke in support of DOGE on Sunday.
According to CoinMarketCap, Dogecoin rose more than 15% in Wednesday morning trading in Asia.
The memcoin rose to a 24-hour high of $0.06932. Shiba Inu rose more than 20% to $0.0009805 in early trading on Wednesday. It last rose 3.6% to 0.02855 USD.
"I will continue to support Dogecoin," Elon Musk, a longtime memcoin supporter, said on his Twitter account on Sunday.
Musk's tweet came after a complaint was filed against the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX about the manipulation of the Dogecoin price.
Bitcoin was trading mostly unchanged at $20,463.70, while Ethereum was down 1.6% to $1,103.41 at the time of publication.
The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies remains below the $1 trillion mark and was last traded at about $902.54 billion at the time of publication
