Roger Ver denies defaulting on a $47 million loan

Bitcoin Cash promoter Roger Ver denies defaulting on a loan of $47 million in US dollars for the cryptocurrency exchange CoinFLEX.
Ver tweeted that the debt rumors were false, without mentioning CoinFLEX, but insisted that the counterparty owed him "a significant amount of money."

Shortly after, CoinFLEX CEO Mark Lamb responded on Twitter that the company had sent Vera a notice of default and "categorically denies" that the exchange had outstanding debts to him.

"Unfortunately, Roger Vera has to resort to such tactics to evade his obligations and responsibilities," Lamb said.

CoinFLEX froze transactions on its platform last Friday, citing extreme market conditions and counterparty uncertainty.

On Tuesday, the firm issued tokens worth 47 million US dollars with a yield of 20% for debt tokenization.
