(no subject)
just finished American Gods...
and now i have that empty feeling, like a child looking forlornly at the inside-bottom of a mug, saying "all gone."
addendum:
very much overwhelmed by a low-key (not to be confused with Loki) "... well, damn. what now?" feeling. just a slow, tired malaise. i suppose it could just be the book, although it could also be tied in with some private events over the past 24hrs. it's not exactly like 'depression'... and it's not disappointment. just a floating feeling of lack-of-direction, but just a temporary one, i hope. it's like having made a turn onto a street, only to find out it's not the right one, but not yet being lost -- just having to backtrack some.
