Resolution to Authorize the Wishing of Valentine Greetings to My Significant Other via LiveJournal

Whereas Feb 14 is the date traditionally reserved for the explicit declaration of affection;

Whereas my request for a date with Helen expressed the sense that it should be the policy of the DarthZeth to support efforts to acquire her affections;

Whereas DarthZeth has taken steps to pursue vigorously the relationship with Helen through the provision of authorities and funding to take the necessary actions to woo her;

Whereas Helen has responded favorably and reciprocated with many smoochies and snuggles;

Whereas Helen has performed exceptionally well as a superior girlfriend;

Whereas Helen is also a total hotty;

Whereas last year’s Valentine’s Day entry was a hastily assembled MS Paint heart and a link to a good deal on a rifle;

Whereas unnecessary verbosity in the manner of legislatures has a certain romance all its own;

Now, therefore, be it resolved by DarthZeth to,

SEC 1 . SHORT TITLE

This resolution may be cited as the “2007 Valentine’s Day Entry”

SEC 2. SUPPORT FOR ROMANTIC EFFORTS

(a) Publicly profess love of Helen on the forum of the internet.

(b) Shower Helen with many smoochies and snuggles.

(c) Squeeze Helen very tightly.

(d) Present Helen with a gift or gifts, the nature of which shall only be revealed at the time at which she shall open them.
