The south of Sweden sure is the most beautiful place to be on this time of year, so my vacation there was quite nice.
Mum and I ate lots of fish, joking about how the risk of us suffering from dementia in the future decreased with each bite... and we lay on the beach, bathed in the sea, took looong bike trips and walks, read thick books (in my case, Diana Gabaldon's Outlander), drank beer, admired pretty boys (well, at least I did) and searched through all the handbag shops we could find. Among other things.
Now, since I landed in Ljungby, I've experienced all kinds of feelings stretching between "annoyingly perky" and "wanting to shoot myself". Mostly because I'm slightly homesick, but also because I really don't feel like starting to work next week.
I've started painting again, though, which is a good thing, and I try to write for at least an hour every day. Creativity and inspiration are fickle things; they come and go. Mostly, in my case, they go. =^^=
I should get dressed now.
