When you are at your lowest, have panic attacks and feel generally shitty, make sure your friends come by and save you. I owe my friends everything for coming by and saving me yesterday. They picked me up on their way to find adventure, and adventure found us.
Adventure in the form of stealing a huge loaf of brunch bread -- and when I say huge, I mean HUGE -- from the freezer at the nation, microwaving it and then trudging off downtown. Destination? The Swan Pond.
So. The nine of us -- almost like the Fellowship, come to think of it -- started throwing bread at the wee ducks and huge swans. This took some time, as brunch bread is kind of everlasting. I mean, you could have killed a person with that loaf, if you'd aimed good enough.
Then we took the action to an open-air restaurant (not a student nation! OMG! OMG!) and downed a beer or two, or, in my case, zero beers.
James-Erik and I discussed the upcoming football match -- we're to play football with the farce group today -- and agreed that the loser has to buy the winner a beer. Of course this means that I'll be a beer richer tonight. Failure is not an option. =^^=
Then there was an afterparty at Mattias's, during which some had more beer and some just grumbled at other people's taste in music -- I won't mention any names, but I know damn well who I'm talking about, and of course I'm not talking about myself, because you all know that I'd never, ever make fun of another person's taste in music, so help me God.
Now, I'm off to buy myself knee bandages, as I do not wish to go through another day of aches and pains due to football-related knee injuries. The day after our last match, I thought my joints would give up on me.
