If only pure sweetness was offered... what's this bitter taste left in my mouth?

Well then! I really have next to nothing to post about, but I just felt the need to share some next to useless info about myself. Anyways, I watched a movie tonight and it's the 3rd movie to ever enter my list of "Movies that Korey has cried to!" Yep, it's my awkward list of just THREE movies I've ever cried while watching. In order of their viewing...

1. Pokemon the First Movie - I'm sorry, but when Ash gets turned to that weird statue steel thing it's quite sad. And then all of the pokemon and their clones turn on each other and begin fighting. Horrible. This is the only movie that people will probably find me an idiot for crying about, but it was quite touching and I could care less what someone else thinks. Also, as a side note, I've also cried to an episode of Pokemon, "Pikachu's Goodbye". I'm not ashamed at all.

2.The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - The ending of the movie, all of it, is probably the most emotional experience (for me at least) I've ever witnessed. I actually first shed a tear during Pippin's song for the Steward. Those 3 films about the only ones I have ever quite taken to heart. I felt like I was with them, that I knew them, they were real. Quite an experience. ROTK just had such an ending that I can't believe. Frodo going into the west with Gandalf, the whole ceremony in Gondor with Aragorn and how he finally gets to see Arwen.. and Elrond is crying. I'm going to shed a tear now. :(

3. Latest entry, Soldier's Girl - Hmm, I was browsing channels and one of my favorite channels is Sundance. I use watch a lot of the homosexual themed flicks, but I haven't really gotten into them fully emotionally. But for some reason this movie did it. It's very very sad, especially the ending. It's basically about a guy in the military who falls for a transsexual stage singer and has to try and figure out himself in the process and also deal with life in the military. We all know how homosexuality and any portion of the military go so well. Basically, his "friend" out of his own insecurities fuels the rage of a new recruit and has him kill the guy in love with the transsexual. It's actually somewhat based on a true story I'm guess, the film admits to it. I don't know much about it though. But anyways, it was probably one of the saddest things I've very scene and I've never ever been so emotional about such a film. It really really hit home, and I've seen plenty of films under the same theme, but for some reason I just don't get into them. It was just really really sad and I couldn't help but feel angry/cry/whatever else. :/ I've always been against going into the military for any reason. I do believe in some things about this country, but I'm sorry, just not to he point of fighting for it.

Anyways, new topic. Those are the films I've ever cried to. No others, weird eh? I'm quite a cry baby too, but rarely cry to a movie. I expect the 4th film to be Episode III of Star Wars though. The plot already has me a little shaky in terms of emotion, but the supposed ending... and the "ending" of the Star Wars saga. I can't help but tear up already. *sighs* Good times! :/
