This stuff just came to mind so I felt I would post twice

Maymester begins on Monday. This week has been real easy with just working a few hours at night in the library. My groceries are pretty much stocked up thanks to my mother who forced me to go grocery shopping with her for last weekend. On that note, I think I'm going to buy her some chocolates from Fannie May for Mother's Day which I know she will love.

Tomorrow I'm going to get a haircut. I'm not as overdue as I usually am, but I would like to get it cut so I look my best on the first day of Maymester. My Maymester class by the way is PSY 239: Women's Studies which should prove to be an interesting class and a great way to kickoff a new major. I'm probably going to buy the textbook tomorrow.

Today I bought a few additional things I needed at Walmart. I was passing by the stack of Slim Fast shakes which I usually never pay mind to, however, this time I kind of gave it a second thought. People have complained I'm too thin(even though, I think I might have gained just a little bit of weight since, like 5 lbs I'm guessing) so there would be a stigma as to this thin guy stocking up on SLIM fast. However, I'm getting tired of falling into the college tendency as to whenever I'm hungry, I just scavenge for any junk food I can find or traveling for fast food or ordering chinese or pizza. I eat in moderation usually, but I think it's going to catch up to me sooner or later healthwise. So, to help me get past those snacking urges that are very common, I bought some shakes. It seems like a much healthier solution, anyway, and its supposed to surpress hunger as well as give lots of energy, which of course any college student needs. So if anyone asks, that's why.

Lately my house has been in a Final Fantasy craze, which of course means I couldn't be happier. One day I got home and smiled because I heard FF4 music coming from an FF2 cartridge....that's right. Ian is now playing FF4/II(which equals 2 by the way, fucking Americans) after beating FFIX(where I encouraged hours upon hours of chocographing) which led Adam to download the GBA version of FFIV and once I saw how revamped it was, it caused me to buy a version today pretty much for the new diaologue plus the new Dark Knight look for Cecil alone.

This summer should be great. My classes should really tingle my brain for once, and I will try to get involved with the only real event APO has over the summer and that's the Summer Blood Drive. I have been re-convinced to come join the party headed to the PLAY! concert on May 27th, which I have found out I am scheduled to work during that day so tomorrow I have to go in and switch days with someone and I'm hoping that will be hassle-free.

(I appologize for jumping from one subject to another) Even with the major change, I should still be graduating in Summer '07 like before which means probably this Spring I'll be searching for TAships across the country for masters/PhD programs in Psych. I will be trying to focus on cognitive and humanistic psychology as my dream job would be that of a family/marriage counselor, private therapist, or a professor.

My fall will be a real test of my strength because I think I will really be busy. I will be taking a normal 15 credits, but I will be an assistant pledge trainer to a group of around 50-80 pledges which means I will have to get to know that many people and be available to assist them in any way I can, I will also be a co-chair for the Fellowship committee where I will be scheduling cool things to do for the entire fraternity which should be fun, but nonetheless, time consuming since it is proper to attend most of the events you schedule. I have also been put in charge of our house(the place where I actually live) finances so I will have to make sure our funds are up to date and we can pay our bills.

So that's all that is going on for me for the rest of year. I think it's going to be invigorating and challenging at the same time, but I'm just happy I'll be keeping myself busy. I hope the summer goes well for everyone, and I will definately be around should anyone need anything.
