I am currently seeking employment once again. I have been sitting at the computer all morning printing resumes and envelopes so that the fonts match. They are printed on paper that looks like parchment, in Lucida Calligraphy, and sealed with red wax and my last initial. I am hoping that SOMEONE finds this fascinating and decides to pay me lots and give me benefits. I can dream can't I? One of the resumes I sent was to Marquee Magazine. I mentioned the article about Vanessa and how much I enjoyed reading it, as means to flatter. I'm trying to Woo the magazine. My dad wants me to apply at every bank in the area for bank teller positions. I can't COUNT!!!!! Well, I can, but I am really terrible at math and I hate money. Sounds like another promising career move. BLAH! PUKE! SPEW!
On a lighter note, auditions for The Rocky Horror Show are coming up this Monday and Tuesday at Theater Bristol. Leigh, Kevin and I did the show 2 years ago and had an absolute blast. Kevin wants to be Eddie and I can't wait to watch him audition. Leigh wants to be Columbia and already has the outfit. She is also light enough for Kevin to pick her up and swing her around. So this means, that I must audition for Magenta, this way leigh and I can act ridiculous together on stage and mock Janet during Toucha Toucha Touch Me. Stephanie Mac of Nast played Magenta twice before and is likely to be cast again. They hate change at theater Bristol. If she doesn't though, I can fit her costumes. I really want to sing the open and close, Science Fiction bit. I auditioned for that 2 years ago, and was denied. After rehearsing I was actually told that they regretted their decision. They cast that based on costume as well. Columbia and singer wore the same outfit and rotated singing. I didn't fit, cuz I'm not a size 0. Welcome to my wonderful plus sized world. You never know though, and it's worth a shot. Wish us happy leg breaking!
