And how is everyone this fine, snowy morning?
Yes, it's true! We awoke to a light dusting of snow here in Eugene. (My poor coworker Holly, who lives a ways out of town, awoke to a foot of snow and will not be in until much, much later today, if at all.) I opened today, so if it's still around by my lunch at 11:00, I'll take some pictures.
The upshot of this is that I've been here for an hour now and done exactly ONE transaction. Hooray for snow keeping people at home at this ungodly hour of the morning. Even though the roads in town are already clear, and it's not slippery, just slushy and gross. I can see it trying to flurry outside, but it's really too warm now for anything to accumulate.
I had my first ever massage class last night! Though it wasn't very exciting; we left super-early because of the oncoming weather, so there was no actual massaging. On the plus side, it meant I got home in plenty of time to roll into bed at 10:00 pm and get enough sleep for once. AND, once I make it through tomorrow (8:00 am - 6:30 pm, ugh), we've got a three day weekend! I intend to go yarn shopping today - I started making an afghan - did I mention I learned to crochet over the break? - so that plus the Rome Season 1 dvds heading my way should fill up my time nicely.
Oh, and I got my rent issue worked out, praise dog. *does the I-have-a-place-to-live dance*
