Survivor Alpine
Made it through the fires! Made it through losing power at work for 3 days! Made it through a work conference! Yes, everything is good here. Moving right along to great. Work is a lot better lately and I think it is partly because I just lock myself away in my office (or cave, as I like to call it) and just get my work done. I schmooze when I have to, but try not to make a habit of it.
Not much new here except that Brandon and I are finally making our living situation better by putting more of our stuff in the house (we are living with his Grandpa). It makes me feel a lot better and really makes home my sanctuary which I need to survive. Now if we could only have cats! I'll settle for the lizard that lives on the patio (Spot), the cat visitors (Orange Kitty & Daisy) and our occasional friends the raccoons. It rained really hard (for here) yesterday and part of today and it was so nice!
I miss everyone and I don't know when I'll be able to make it to Seattle. Sometime soon, I hope.
