Rain, rain, go away...
....no, really, I'm tired of the weather pressure headache and the endless damp and my feet being cold and my ankles wet. You can go away now. Isn't it nearly spring time? Maybe? Pretty please? I'd like to be out of the 40F range now. I mean, I appreciate it not being freezing and snowing (knock on wood) but maybe we could head for the 60's?
On top of the weather headache I have had my neck jacked up since last november - going to PT once a week for it, and wednesdays are my PT day. It's getting better (I can turn my head to the left now!) but ugh... stretches and accupressure nerve points and stuff, and now I spend the rest of the day with a headache that shoots up the back of my neck and my shoulders twitching a bit and my neck feeling like it's gone through a meat grinder. This is not so fun.
In other news, I haven't written in two days because I've been busy doing back end stuff. I'm going to talk endlessly in the future about the mainstream sci-fi book I'm writing (or any of the other books) but in reality my dragon and I have been putting out short pr0n books since last year, under pen names and a little self run indie press. Actually, my dragon does most of the writing - I'm in charge of the web page for the press, and several of the publishing platforms, and now the mailing list for it, and we had a new release and a sale going up today, so I had coding stuff to do. Yay, coding! Which I actually really enjoy. ^___^
And now my brain has decided it needs a break from PLOT, so my 1k of words for today is going to go into finishing up a short pr0n book that I've had sitting 3/4 completed on my harddrive for ages. I mention this because it will go live next week and if anyone is actually interested I'll let you know my pen name. >_> It's fourth in a series, but really, it's not like there's stupendous amounts of plot going on here, you don't have to have read the others. (Ok, really, look, I just want an excuse to show off the covers I've made for the series, I think I've managed to bypass the "cheesy short pr0n ebook" covers and make something actually very classy. =P)
So yeah, I'll probably announce that next week. Probably. If I don't chicken out. >_>
