I HAVE A RING! <3

(the mailman was smart and knew which apt number we were in, but then he went and gave us a different package for the old apartment number which belongs to the new resident there. Oops!)

Also, da-aaaaaamn tungsten steel is heavy! I feel like I could use this ring in self defense. ^____^

You could absolutely use that ring in self defense. I slapped someone wearing my promise ring and left a wicked bruise on their cheekbone that flared all around the eye. It looked terrible and I felt awful.

Context! I am allergic to gold, silver is too soft, and tungsten is nigh unbreakable which is perfect for wearing when your job is very physical.

Good to know, as my job is very physical and that was one of the selling points of the rings for both of us - chances are good neither of us will manage to scratch or break them!

(and hey - I leave work late at night most days and the downtown area isn't the nicest after 7pm. if I have to use it in self defense I'm pretty sure I won't be regretting it.)

In my case I was have a bad day and forgot how to use my words when this person said something way out of line. I instantly regretted it and felt even worse when the bruise bloomed. They did forgive me, and it hasn't happened since.

I hope you never need to use it in self defense but rest assured it will do significant soft tissue damage and can bruise bone with force.

*cross fingers* hopefully I'll never have to, but it's good to know it's pretty unbreakable.
