[surfaces from a weekend of crash course teaching myself stuff that was never in my job requirements*] ...oh look, it's Monday. Um. Hi?
Anybody got any decent (by which I mean leaning towards visual and/or hands on style learning) tutorial recs for Ruby on Rails? I've already found Code School and their Rails for Zombies, which I'm currently plowing through.
Dude. I was supposed to be writing or drawing this weekend. Instead I cleaned house, read, and am now apparently channeling Jazz on a workaround programming coding binge with Scatman John accompaniment. I make my own head hurt. =P
* They hired me as a printer. They got a freebee graphic designer by pure chance. Now I'm apparently a programmer too, because either I design this from the ground up so it makes SENSE or else I spend the foreseeable future trying to shoehorn our department's ordering records through Access in ways it was never meant to be used every month.
