Oh, three cheers for online backup

[hugs google docs and will never slander it again]

It belatedly (yes, it took me this long, hush!) occured to me that I might have lost several crucial bits of writing/outlining due to the great Laptop Death which, y'know, took all of my Scrivner files with it. Some things (tea theories, pinstripes) are all neatly posted online somewhere as journal entries that I can find if I dig around enough, and while I'm FAIRLY certain all of the actual written pieces of Ghosts and Luck's Boys are posted I was a little concerned about the outline but I have that in hardcopy so it's not horrific, just inconvenient. Plus, 80% of that SHOULD be included in the last harddrive backup I did.

BUT! All of the fannish stuff I've been doing lately definitely postdates the last time I backed anything up. Hive is safe on my iPad, but to my immense relief I just discovered AoE is safe in google docs. Hurrah! AND! And my sooper sekrit script for one of the kink meme prompts (the OP of which probably thinks it's been long abandoned... I am a bad bad slow artist x_x) also survived, courtesy of google docs. Hip hip hurrah! Google docs to the rescue! (and the iPad rescued tardis!Ianto and torchwood!Donna and Jenny/Susan Create Chaos, so all is well with the universe.)

(...I have managed to type google DOGS every single time. Dear fingers, wtf?)
