Long weekend isn't LONG ENOUGH.

It's noon on the last day of my mini Memorial Day vacation. I have, since getting up this morning, done the cooking to ensure that I have lunches for the rest of the week, done my daily allotted exercises, and written a four page paper on the Irish Republican Army to the tune of how "terrorism" is defined for my political science class. Oh, and I watered my houseplants, which I've forgotten to do for two weeks running, so go me. ^_^''

Over the course of the weekend I've dropped out of writing one big bang (there's a MASSIVE imbalance between too many writers/not enough artists in that one, so I feel guilty writing for art when I'm totally capable of doing it myself, plus it's for orig fic and I'd like to do it RIGHT instead of slap dashed together for a tight deadline), finished up one big bang piece that will be unveiled tomorrow, purchased real furniture (a big squishy arm chair upholstered in funky dark olive green corduroy fabric) which I'm currently curled up in and have been all weekend, finally purchased a copy of Star Trek and a replacement copy of TPM (the first was watched yesterday and lead to a binge of Amanda/Sarek fic reading, the second is going to go into the dvd player as soon as I finish this post), and purchased and registered my copy of VoodooPad, which has become my primary writing program (yes, even over Scrivener. It's smaller and lighter than Scrivener is, which means I can tote it around easier on a USB drive.)

....I'm trying to think if I've done anything else of any interest this weekend, other than what's covered in that incredible run on sentence. Um. Nope, I think that's pretty much it.

[eyes the rest of the to-do list] [rolls up metaphorical sleeves] It's only noon. Time to get cracking on the rest of it before work rolls around again tomorrow.
