I thought I might write the first chapter, but it turns out it's going to take awhile. So here - have a fic bit instead.

*laughs* For the record, Fenris is griiiiiiiinning. For once, not predatorially.

...and you tempt me to poke the Heretic about his pre-gate dates. I've gotten flashes now and then, but nothing *concrete*. It's a very different life from Theodric's, certainly.

Heee! Yes, very different, I'm certain. ^_^ Theodric's world makes my head hurt. And Theodric around age 19 causes more rounds of facepalming and snickering than he's probably going to be able to put up with for very long.

actually...over here, we didn't go 'omg will turner'. But a *lot* of muses turned to stare at Hugin and ask 'you're SURE you're not REALLY related?'

[DEAD!] Oh lord, that's even funnier. HEEE. and it only gets better. there's a large snit of "I'm right, you're wrong, okay DON'T listen to me, I'll go do it by myself anyways!" coming up, which was the point where I totally had the Will Turner moment.

Hn. The Heretic can be interestingly subtle at me. I poked him and got some imagery to work with, but no real 'feel'.

And then the iPod, on the 10K song shuffle, came up with Gregorian's "The Four Horsemen".

I think I will be writing this tonight, yes.
