Blah shitty week
Well Sunday was my birthday, and I didn't really enjoy it too much. I was in Las Vegas which was good, but I didn't win any money. No one really called me up to wish me a happy b-day, although Jon Yang did which was greatly appreciated. He also sent me a Star Trek yarmulke, which I thought was pretty funny. I guess I didn't enjoy it too much cause I wasn't with friends although I was with my parents and we went to a very nice restaurant in the Venetian on the strip. My friend Lindsey then took me out to see a movie. Even though I enjoyed the movie and was in vegas, I would prefer to spend my B-day with closer friends like Becky and Jenny and the rest of them. I didn't even have a cake, which makes me sad. Nor did I get any presents yet. My parents are giving me a new digital camera at some point, but they didn't know where there was a best buy in Las Vegas to get it. My uncle is going to get me something this weekend I guess, and I guess my parents will be sending me a gift certificate. Still its nice to actually get something on your birthday; Especially if you are away from friends, and down $80 at the casino. I've also missed class all this week. I was on a plane monday morning so I couldn't go then. On tuesday I slept right through it (still on vegas time, getting up at noon is like getting up at 9AM) On wednesday I woke up but kept hitting snooze, it was ten and I said "I'll hit it one more time" and then somehow it didn't go off and I woke up at 11:30. Today I got up and was all ready to o then fell asleep on the couch on my way out the door. I think I am just afraid of taking the makeup test I have to take that I missed monday. This weekend I am going to study like crazy for it. Hopefully he'll still let me take it. He seems reasonable. I was also late to work every day but today. My boss took me aside and told me that was unacceptable. So of course I got my shit together today. So I am happy about that. I really hope I get a game boy advance SP for my B-day from someone. I want the "Retro" one that looks like an old NES controller. Anyway, I'm still hoping someone will give me something to do at work today. I need to go find myself a project I think.
