And So It Begins...

I am moving to California in exactly one month from today. The packing has already begun. I'm honestly surprised by the fact that it takes 2 Xerox paper boxes and a duffel bag the same size as the one I used in my track and field days in high school, PLUS the same to 15-NES-game cases I've had for years to hold all my old-school gaming hardware and software. Let me repeat that. OLD-SCHOOL, which comprises of NES, SNES, N64, and Dreamcast. This does not comprise of my PS2 or Gamecube. My PS2 and Cube shall be left out until a couple days before I move. I expect all this-gen hardware and software to take another Xerox box. I also have another Xerox box full of books, not including the 14-volume Ian Fleming James Bond novels boxed set I got the other day. I still have my computer, cds, dvds and clothes to worry about, plus whatever other trinkets I feel I must have in California (such as my collection of casino playing cards).

ADDENDUM: My cds are taking up more than 2 Xerox boxes... perhaps I should sell my PS2 before I move, it'd be one less thing to put in the trunk.

...And then there will be the matter of what to have my parents mail to me once I get there.

This just in from the "Damn, we must be in some deep shit!" department: the Chicago Bears have signed Jeff George.
