Have tidied a lot of my room, culled some clothes that no longer fit, put stuff in one of those hanging columns of boxes that you can get to hang in the closet.  Washed up all but one of the dirty dishes in the kitchen (now there's no room in the drainer for the last one).  Sorted the recycling, which will go out soon.  Must do something about All This Yarn, and also see what can be done in the guest room, where I will this weekend be putting a sofa-bed-thing.  (My parents are coming next weekend, and they've got it in their heads they'd rather stay with me than in a hotel, to which end they're spending a hotel visit's worth of $ on something they'll be happier to sleep on than an air mattress.)  Crazy, I know.  But hence the buzzing-around-and-cleaning frenzy, because I've been away the past three weekends -- haven't I? -- maybe three of the past four -- and the place is kind of a wreck.

Let's see what more I can get done before abka comes to take me to the bonspiel ...

Update:  guest room is as good as it's going to get until I have at least another filing cabinet.  Onward!
