So the people who own the Friedrich house decided to go with a couple who were first to respond to their ad, which - since it's what I wish the people who own the original OMG HOUSE had done - I can't really argue with.
Which means Himself and I are variously on the phone with the rental agent going GO GO GO trying to be sure we get the application in for the pink Kurt house by COB today so there's not another weekend of people looking at it and the potential of getting sniped out of another one and having to begin all over again again. I want this process to be over already.
The Marta house, with the driveway backing right into traffic, has an application registered. That was our bronze-medal finisher, but we really couldn't have lived there because of the traffic situation. Even if we'd dealt with it, his family would have felt like they couldn't visit safely. The Brigitta house with the lamppost in the backyard is still active, so I suppose if someone gets Kurt out from under us we can have a conversation about whether to go with that one or to begin again. Liesl, Luisa, and Gretl are right out.
