okay, you know what?

(Side note, it turns out I have used that subject line before, recently enough that the DW posting interface suggested it. HAR.)

I've finally had it with this Rosetta Stone commercial - I mean, I've had it with all Rosetta Stone commercials, and when they come on the radio in the car I have to turn the radio off; but this one on TV, I'm finally annoyed enough with to tell you about, and here's why. NO, MISTER LEARNING-FRENCH MAN, I do not think you want to tell your wife Je t'aimerai à la fin de ma vie, because unless I'm very much mistaken, that means I will love you at the end of my life. I'm pretty sure what you want to say, and what the subtitles claim you are saying, is Je t'aimerai jusqu'à la fin de ma vie, meaning I will love you until the end of my life.

In your ear, Rosetta Stone.

i am a language snob
