"With Great Power comes great responsibility"
Well I now know how Frodo felt carrying the one ring. There is a knowledge that you can do a great deal that is fun but would also be detrimental to people. You know that it is in your best interest to take care of what you have been given for not only you but others. You also need to care for the responsibily if you want to be able to obtain more in the future. I know this because for the past week I have had the grand master key to the residence. I could have pranked friends with it if I wanted to, I could have pranked some people who had pranked me earlier in the year. I could have locked everyone in the residence if I wanted to. But I didn't because it would be very nice, it wouldn't be very smart, it wouldn't help my chances of ever being an RA and it is never a good idea to make Rebecca mad. So I'm sorry Josh but absolute power does not corrupt absolute because I was good with my power. So this past week I was on res for March break and since for half the break only one RA was here I was helping out around the res in case anything came up. So Monday I cleaned a wing kitchen because apparently some university students can't cook hamburger meat with out getting the stuff literally all over the place. So since raw meat is a health hazard and it isn't a good idea to leave stuff around that can grow dangerous bacteria I was on the squad to clean up someone else's mess. It was nasty but oh well I survived. Also Josh, Shannon and I got a free pizza by stuffing envelopes with promo stuff for the upcoming play. Not a bad deal for 15mins of work. I was also pleasantly surprised this week when I found out that my 'volunteering' to help out this week ended up in me getting a little bit of cash even though I volunteer because I was around. I told them I didn't need to get anything for doing it but I did anyways I won't complain. This week has been nice to take a break from school work and I even got some reading done. So I think I can make it to the end of the semester although I think my 4 exams will be held on only two days but I'm not sure about that but if it is I'll warn you now Josh I may get a little bit scary stressed. Anyways I should try to use this thing more often and I hope everyone is doing well. Later.
