yeah so i found out today that MSU doesnt have a way to minor in music. So i would have to audition as a performance major in there school of music which wouldnt be a huge problem except they want a two and four mallet solo! shit i dont know how to do that so im kinda worried. My options are to try and learn all the solos while getting a letter of

Not to be a naysayer, but minoring in music might not be worth the extra effort in college anyways. Especially if your doing something like Biology as a major, you might be better off just finding a band or something and saving the money on the music minor. just my $.02.

its not a bad idea. im just wondering if im going to get really sick of biology during college and regret not doing drumming for the rest of my life instead. but i guess i wouldnt want to be a studio drummer as much as a rock star.
