[LJ2ME] Today At Work
Ok, so, a bit of history. every 6 months, my company selects a bunch of people for the above and beyond award. well, the mean girl clique was selected en masse, because of a project they did. this is initially problematic, because they excluded people right from the start, and naturally the mean girls think they're hot shit because of it. ok, so, tuesday, they asked folks to stay late, to get ahead, since they were going to be gone for a day and a half. like six people. well, i was the only one to volunteer, and evidently, they made comments about me and others not being able to handle them being gone. well, since we did their jobs better than they do? obviously not the case. so, they all came back wearing their i <3 New York shirts, and prancing around like they're princesses. it's a recipe for a bad day. half of us think they're worthless and resentful, the other half are bitter old women that are just driving me crazy as per normal. the drama is high. for the moment, i'm ok, pretty calm, but my anger has been quick, between this place and online stuff. i think i'll get some rum and coke and maybe some pizza and wings. it's going to be a tense day. oh, but i started watching True Blood. it's pretty hot. anna paquin impresses the shit out of me. so that's good. but yeah. just... yeah.
