Ace let out a low whine as he and Superman flew over the farm lands. Clark chuckled softly and shifted his grip to hold the dog closer.
He scratched Ace behind the ears, "It's okay boy we're almost there."
Ace let out a whine that said it was anything but fine, but what choice did he have.
Soon a familiar farm came into view and pair touched down on the ground. Clark crouched down as Ace flopped on the ground, as if the dog was trying to meld himself to the earth itself. Clark ran his hand down the dog's back. "Really sorry Ace, it's just that when Bruce asked me to watch after you while he went to Japan I thought you'd might enjoy a stay at the farm rather stay at my small apartment. Didn't think you might not like the flying."
Ace laid back his ears and gave a half hearted growl. He didn't mind his Master's friend, he really was nice, but really, didn't he know that dogs weren't meant to fly?

Ace crouched low over the still form of Barbara Gordon, his teeth bared, ears laid back, a dangerous growl filled the air.
Maleficent smiled a cold hard smile as her long black cape billowed behind her. "And what do you think you can do dog? She touched the spindle and her reward is sleep forever more."
Ace snapped his jaws and made a half jump for Maleficent.
"Back you cur!" The evil fairy cursed, raising her staff, the bulb beginning to glow.
The bathound sprang away just as a lighting bolt hit where he was. A cackling laugh followed him as he ran away for help. He would fetch Master and save their friend from this fairy tale nightmare come true.

"You make it look easy," Cassie said as she sat on the ground watching Connor practice.
Connor smiled as he pulled back his bow. "You could do it too you know."

Connor looked up at Maleficant as she sat on her throne. "There is nothing you can give me that I want."

Connor turned away and squeezed his eyes shut willing away the thought of black hair and blue eyes least Maleficant could glean his thoughts. "Whatever you offer would come at too high a price. I wouldn't have you tainting anything I want."
Maleficant's lips turned into a smirk. "So defiant, so certain in your beliefs. So very entertaining." She motioned for her guards to come forward. "Escort our guest back his . . . room . Perhaps some time alone will ready him to accept my offer."
The guards grabbed Connor and hauled him away.Maleficant leaned back in her throne. She softly ran her finger down her Raven's back. "Perhaps the key to our steadfast archer is fear instead of desire," She raised her hand to look at her pet, "Go bring me the blue eyed youth. We will see how the archer's resolve faces up against that."

Kon looked at himself in the mirror, "I can't believe I got myself into this."
Tim leaned back against the wall, a smile on his lips. "Told you not to bet against Jason. Told you, you wouldn't like it."
"Well I figured he'd just pants me in front of Justice League or something . . . not this!"
Tim chuckled as he watched Kon mess with his hair. True after Kon had lost the bet to his brother the last thing he expected was for Jason to ask Kon out on a date. "I'm sure he'll be a perfect gentleman tonight."
Kon rolled his eyes. "Excuse me if I doubt that, the words 'Jason' and 'gentlemen' don't exactly go hand in hand."
"You never know, Jason lives to surprise people."
As if summoned by the mention of his name, a knock on the door had both Kon and Tim turning around. "You ladies done or do you still need to powder your noses?"
Kon snorted and grabbed his jacket and gave Jason a once over. Jason was dressed in a red button up shirt, black jeans and a black leather jacket. In truth Kon didn't mind the sight at all.
"Come on super stud, I don't bite . . unless you want me too," Jason said with a smirk.
"Hm some could say the same about me Mr. Todd," Kon said as he returned the smirk,as he followed Jason out of the room. Maybe this date wouldn't be the disaster Kon had thought it could be.

"Oh yeah lots of Robins, Canaries, Hawks, and Doves. Tell ya what Purple Arrow, we set up a couple of targets, loser buys the beers, and I'll tell ya all about it."
"Deal Red. Wouldn't mind seeing a bit of wild life while I'm here."

Suddenly a loud bark filled the quiet morning and a running/flying mass of white and red jumped on Kara's bed. Krypto let out another bark as he pawed at the blankets, sticking his cold nose under them, sniffing at Kara.
"Krypto!" Kara cried as her quiet morning was ruined. She tried to push the dog off the bed, only to have Krypto jump around the bed, barking happily.
"Alright! Alright, I'm up all ready," She laughed, giving into the dog, sitting up and hugging him around the neck. "You know though, you and I have to have a talk about the joys of sleeping in on a Saturday morning."
